We are enormously grateful to Will Woodman, head gardener, and his team at Knightshayes, for inviting us to hold the Forum at this historic property, with its woodland gardens and important plant collections, and the elegant, restored walled kitchen garden. We are very sad to have to announce that our founder, chairman and friend Susan, passed away on the 2nd January 2024. She had become ill very suddenly after Christmas at home, and died peacefully at the local hospice. Her family are planning a private funeral followed by a celebration of her life at her home late Spring/early Summer this year

People to thank and gardens to celebrate Dear friends, now at the very end of the year with the winter solstice behind us, Christmas festivities done and leftovers in the fridge, we want to send out our biggest thanks to everyone who has been involved with and supported WKGN this year. In March we celebrated Susan Campbell receiving the Veitch Memorial Medal 2023 from the RHS in recognition for her work over nearly 40 years, on and for walled kitchen gardens.
